Roasted masala makhana (Foxnuts) / phool makhana snack recipe- This masala makhana snack is healthy, delicious, flavourful snack to munch on. 1tbspgheeto make it vegan you can use coconut oil instead
1/2tbspsea saltyou can use regular salt
1/2 tspturmeric powder
1tspchilli powderyou can adjust this as per your taste
1/2tspblack salt powder
1tspamchoor powder (dry mango powder)
1tspdried mint leaveshand crushed
1/2tsproasted jeera powder (roasted cumin powder)
Instructions
Heat ghee / coconut oil in a pan.
Add foxnuts/makhanas, add turmeric powder and roast for 10-12 minutes,till these start getting a little golden and crispy.
Take them off heat.
Make the seasoning- Mix all the dry ingredients together- salt/ pepper/chilli powder/ black salt powder/amchoor powder/roasted cumin powder and dried crushed mint leaves.
Add the seasoning to the foxnuts and mix /shake well.
Keep it in an airtight container, and it will be good to munch in for months.
