Mango Passion Fruit Smoothie recipe
This smoothie is a great and a very healthy option in summers, as mangoes are easily available throughout and are really really ripe. Also a combination of mango and passion fruit go really well taste wise as well.
Im not sure if passion fruit is easily available in India, specifically in north India. If passion fruit is not available, you can substitute it for kiwi, which also goes really well with mango .
In this smoothie, I have not used any dairy , so this is completely vegan version. Milk or even Greek yoghurt can be used if you are making this for kids, or if you are ok using dairy.
I usually use water instead of any other drink/liquid ,to get the fresh mango flavour and the right consistency. If you want you can use coconut water, as that also blends beautifully with mango flavour.
Another ingredient that I used is the cashew nut butter to add some healthy fat to my smoothie and to make it creamy and nutty. You can even use almond butter, or just skip this altogether.
Mango passion fruit smoothie recipe
- 1 mango ripe
- 1 passion fruit
- 2 pitted prunes
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp cashew butter optional
- ice cubes
- 1 cup water(or coconut water)
- Put everything together in a blender and blend till smooth.
